Karen Best, Best Team Founder
Karen's real estate credentials include being an Associate Broker, a licensed REALTOR
since 1992, and earning her GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute) and CRS (Council
of Residential Specialists). She has sold hundreds of homes and land parcels in Jefferson
and Kitsap counties, and is called a "great closer" and "skilled negotiator" by everyone she
works with. Her experience, sales record and knowledge have led to yearly recognition as a
member of the Coldwell Banker President's Premier, a designation awarded only to those who are
in the top 1% of Coldwell Banker realtors worldwide. She was named Jefferson County Agent of the Year 1997,
and is consistently named a Top Producer in Jefferson County. Prior to her real estate career,
Karen worked in radio and television advertising sales, management, marketing, consulting, and
as a professional singer. In her free time, Karen enjoys boating on her 40-foot cruiser,
travel, golf, tennis, her two horses, and spending time with her teen-aged son, Jesse.

Dawn Aldrich, REALTOR, Listing Coordinator, Web Support and Buyer's Agent
Dawn grew up in a real estate family in Port Townsend. She brings this background along with strong
customer service skills, work experience in accounting, business management, and web page design to our team.
Dawn is involved with the marketing of new listings, the design and upkeep of the website, and is enjoying her
expanding role in sales. Married to a co-owner of one of the most popular historic taverns in Port Townsend,
the Water Street Brewing and Ale House, Dawn loves Jefferson County and all it has to offer. In her free
time she loves going to area festivals, enjoying the local beaches, and playing tennis and bad golf.
(Actually, the tennis is pretty bad, too.)
