Gazebo Hill Loop
This trail begins at the base of the hill at the west end of the Bay Club building, leads around and up to a gazebo structure
on the top of the hill, then back- around the other way to complete the loop. The trail is part gravel and part natural. It is an easy and pleasant walk through the forest, less than half a mile in length. Look for evidence, of Iong-ago logging, such as
large trees with notches in them for plank platforms used by loaders in the days before the industry became mechanized.
Ward's Walk
Built several years ago to honor the memory of Port Ludlow resident Ward Lawler, this short section of trail leads from the east end of the Bay Club building around the end of Chandler Court to South Keel Road and thus to the Around-the-Bay Trail.
Along the way, there is a bench by the water where you can sit and watch the wildlife.
Special Notes
Port Ludlow's trails are privately owned, operated, and maintained for the residents of Port Ludlow and their guests.
Some sections of these trails pass near homes. Please show consideration for your neighbors' peace and privacy by leaving cell phones at home and keeping conversation volume down when passing close to homes. Keep your dog on leash and bring a bag to pick up all pet waste.
Because of potential fire danger, there is NO SMOKING on any of Port Ludlow's walks or trails.
